The UNC Charlotte Department of Engineering Technology will be the “ET Department of Choice” in the southeast and among the top ten nationally for engineering technology students, faculty, sponsors and partners, reflecting the excellence of our programs, research, graduates, and faculty.

Department Mission

The UNC Charlotte Engineering Technology programs exist to serve the citizens of North Carolina and the industries in this region.
We will provide increased access and educational opportunities to the citizens of North Carolina and to graduates of AAS programs of the Community Colleges in North Carolina and surrounding states.
Accordingly, we will supply highly-competent baccalaureate level technology graduates (technologists) for the region.
