Admission Decisions Are Based On

High School Performance
  1. Academic courses in grades 9 - 11. Applicants must have the required high school courses. Most applicants we admit exceed them and have performed well.
  2. Grade point average. Please provide us with your grade point average computed on a 4.0 scale.
  3. Senior year course selection. In addition to English, we encourage students to take math, science, and foreign language in the senior year. We also expect a solid schedule of academic courses in the Spring semester.
SAT or ACT Scores
  1. Take the test prior to and during the fall of your senior year.
  2. No student is denied (or accepted) on the basis of test score alone.
  3. Do not let a test score keep you from applying if you are a good high school student.
  4. UNC Charlotte College Board (SAT) code - 5105; ACT code - 3163
