Approved Major Electives for Electrical Engineering Technology
adopted February 2005

For the Electrical Engineering Technology program, major electives consist of 3XXX level courses in the College of Engineering and STAT 1220. For any desired major elective, the following conditions apply:

a. Student must have completed applicable pre- or co-requisites for the desired class.
b. Student’s Advisor must agree that the course is appropriate for the students major and career plans, and approve the choice on the student’s advising form for the appropriate term.

For any other class requested by a student as a major elective, the student must use the ET Department form for Major Electives Outside the College and must provide the following:

a. Written justification for using the class as a major elective.
b. Advisor approval.
c. Approval by the ET Department Chair.
